Today's Most Interactive Ads

1. LUX's soap.

Scene 1, an animated female wearing regular daily clothes is walking into a forest.

"Luna is an ordinary girl. But today, everything is going to change as Luna found a purple stone, the soap."

Scene showing the animated female shocked to find the purple oval soap, zoom in to the brand stamped on the soap. Then the animated female took a bath in a lake in the forest, surrounded by forest animals, all looking in awe at the bathing animated female (I wonder if the animals are just horny?)

All of the sudden, the animated female has long, thick, wavy hair, wearing a very short and revealing purple dress, all of the sudden severely voluptous, purple eyeshadows, red lipstick, and purple sexy heels.

She's walking down the road, and guess what? All men of every age that she passed magically fixated their eyes on her. There are even animated purple flowers flying from her hair to emphasize her charm on the lads.

The last scene shows the now super hot animated female from the back, walking like a live spanish guitar into a dark alley with dark buildings, also dont forget the signs, "LOUNGE" and "HOTEL".

Luna was magically turned into a hooker. All with the help of the magical purple LUX soap.

Wow! I know, right! And all this is on air for everyone to see. The perfect ad.

5 Things

5 things that I used to loathe, but now cant live without:

1. Yoghurt. Any form, any flavor. Used to frown in disgust when forced to eat, now serves as my breakfast.
2. Alicia Keys' No One.
3. Baby's biscuit. Didnt like it as a baby, but serves as my primary snack these days.
4. Discovery Travel and Living, esp the food programmes.
5. Apple juice. I loveeeeee sweet and watery fuji apples, esp when they're liquid. Hmm.

5 things that I love from the first sight till death do us part:

1. Kings of Convinience. Everything about them.
2. Muay Thai, my sister introduced me to it, and Im forever grateful to her.
3. Jazz.
4. John Steinbeck's novels.
5. Peter Petrelli.

OK this is getting random. I wonder what Eveline answered for this random quiz we gave ourselves through the MSN.

Idling and Pizzas

Idleness has been treating me real good these days.

For the first time since I graduated from highschool, everything seems so simple. OK, I do admit that I sometimes miss the crowded, busy days. A bunch of activities do be done, things that can easily take my mind away from the inevitable.

Cause idling can sometimes bring up some unpleasant thoughts.

However, I shall not repeat my previous mistakes: loathing my idle days while waiting for UAN class to begin. No, no, no. My new idle days now are great. Today, I spent my Tuesday with a stack of DVDs and take-out pizza.

Sure, hours of sitting and doing nothing but watch the laptop’s screen can be mind numbing. But let me assure you that my senses are fortunately still so aware of my surroundings, especially when my stomach started to demand something to fill it with. No worries, I know people. People who can help you with this sort of problem, all you have to do is make one call, and voila.

So I made the call.

30 minutes later, voila!

As I opened the pizza’s carton box, and the sudden rush of hot, pizza infected air teased my appetite. Quickly, I took out a warm slice, and took the first bite. Oh. A sudden explosion of meatiness filled my brain. The tenderness of pepperonis, sausages, bacons and meat chunks, spiced with juicy baked tomato sauce, topped with mind-bobbling gooey mozzarellas. Oh.

It just doesn’t get any better than this, I suppose.

Hahaha I hope I didn’t cause any sudden pizza-craze on you?

So life’s been good.

I hope these days of pizzas and DVDs and FS and FB and MSN and Disc Travel and Living and HBO and Star Movies and novels and the greatness of doing nothing of any significance wont do my brain that much damage, anyways.

Peas, and have fun :)! Cause whether you’re idling or striving, the pizza guy is always at your service.

All you have to do is make the call.

The Contender Asia

This show is rockin.

Really, really gripping.

My fav of the bunch:

1. Yodsenklai from Thailand. Just look at his bear-ish ppearance. He is undoubtedly the cutest and toughest of them all.

2. Naeropol from Thailand. He cant speak English so he mostly talk to his best friend Yodsenklai, as both came from the same gym, both close friends from the beginning.

So imagine my horror when both were forced to fight each other in the episode 9. I want neither to go home yet, but what can you do. Right from the moment when their name was called, both grew pale, both speechless. He and Yodsenklai kept saying how he didnt want anyone to get hurt, esp them being close friends. At the end, Yodsenklai conquered his doubts, saying that "No matter we are friends, we must fight in the ring."
And I have this tendency of cheering on whoever's losing. Because each carried their own stories, seeing one get beaten is heartwrenching.

In the end, Naeropol lost. Pretty predictable tho. He wasnt even really fighting in the ring. Maybe he's still too scared to hit his friend.

:(

I hope that I wont have to forced to fight my own friends, or even kin, for victory or accomplishments.

What would you do?

My Daily-Dos

berhubung dnica skrg sudah jadi pengangguran murni,, 5 kegiatan pokok sehari2 yg gw perkirakan:
1. bangun siang jam 10-11 atau mungkin jem 12
2. gak mandi pagi ( mandi malem juga kgk kali)
3. nge mil non stop
4.cek fs - facebook - msn - blogspot.
5. jemput adik di sekolah.

My defense: NO! (For some).

As I am officially unemployed, my 5 daily must-do list:

1. sleep at 11 pm.
2. woke up at 6.30 am (OK, this is all because my stupid brother thought that 'snooze' in his phone means 'alarm off'. Thus his disco version of "We are The Champion" forcefully awakens me this morning!)
3. Check my emails, MSN, FB, FS (OK, you were right, darling :p)
4. Find things to eat from the kitchen (OK, this too)
5. Watch Discovery travel and living, David's Dolce Vitta, Nigella, Jamie. Oh. Guilty pleasure.

But in my defense, I am wayyyyyyyyy more productive than I was in the UAN class. Now, I would reform broken bonds with friends over distance, go to the gym, play the piano, read my daily novels, watch the news etc etc.

So no regret yet I guess.

Altho I do miss my cattle-friends back in the UAN class. Will post some dirty UAN pictures later. Spreading Andrew's most embarassing and personal pics.

*evil sneer*

Sayonara UAN

As of today, I officially signed off from the UAN program. The reason? Simple. My life is too short.

No, I still dont think Im a quitter though.

Im not greedy. I think everyone has their own fields, and alas, mine's doesnt involve science at all.

So have fun in your fields, because life is too short.

Ayat-Ayat Cinta

Here or here.

This is such a great Indonesian Islamic film. Even with some inaccurate details, it is still so beautiful and touching that I am left speechless. It provides another side of another culture, another religion apart from what we thought we knew.

There's so much thing we need to learn.

Whos The Smartest of Them All?

Friday is the best day of the week. Reasons: 1. Tomorrow's Saturday. 2. All the periods are downright unimportant but 2 last periods of Maths.

During Religion, my teacher explained about how we humans are created with His image, and that this established a sense of connection between us and Him. This sole reason is said to be the unexplainable trigger of our sense of deity (the understanding that there's a greater force that us in this world), and why we pray.

Because we are created based on His image, we are said to be the smartest of all the other creatures in this world. With the highest intelligent to, again, pray.

I wonder if other animals also claim that they're the smartest and the most intelligent of the other species?

Maybe without we realizing it, fishes (for eg) are talking using fish language thats beyond our understanding to pray.

It kinda bugs me that theres so many unknown, mysterious and veiled things in this wide world yet some claim superiority over others.

I hate driving home alone from the airport, heartbroken, and the toll gates' inspectors looking strangely at yr puffy red eyes.

Good luck, Marissa, Eveline :)
